Welcome to our very first blog post!
Love Covers You Apparel Co. exists as a source of inspiration and encouragement (inspired by a verse of scripture taken from 1 Peter 4:8) to cultivate unity in Faith, Family and Friendships with wearable canvases (t-shirts) displaying the message of love. That's our story and our mission. We hope this blog will serve as a little insight behind what we do and why we do it plus a source of encouragement on various topics such as life + business and faith, family, friendships.
Why focus on Faith, Family and Friendships?
FAITH
First and foremost, faith in the word of God is the foundation of all we do. It identifies "what" is faith, according to Hebrews 11:1 (NLT)...Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. It defines "why" faith is the foundation of what we do, according to Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)...And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. And, it shows "where" faith comes from, according to Romans 10:17 (NKJV)...So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. It is the essential element in our decision making and what we present on any platform we use.
FAMILY
Likewise, family is the fuel and motivation. They serve as our biggest cheerleaders! Our successes, failures, joy, pain and victories are all connected. Our prayers are shaped because of the love and concern for their future. We have to show up daily and be present for our spouses and children. If you're a parent, then you know that we have the ability to create the atmosphere of their environment. An atmosphere of love is critical for any family to thrive!
FRIENDSHIPS
Friendships are an extension of our family. Aren't we fortunate to choose who these individuals are? Balanced friendships allow us to thrive and grow while also giving us grace to be vulnerable, open to correction and counsel. These relationships encourage us on the path to fulfill God-given potential and callings without becoming distractions.
